The fissured bark of a Fragrea fragrans, also known as Tembusu. It is one of the few species of plants native to Singapore and interestingly, is on the back of the Singaporean 5 dollar note. The particular Fragrea fragrans tree on the note can be seen still alive and well at the Singapore Botanic Gardens.

"Do not spoil what you have by desiring what you have not; remember what you now have was once among the things you only hoped for."-Epicurus
